Upton Town Partnership - Questionnaire regarding Upton    November 14, 2012

Dear Upton Resident, Visitor or Trader, November 2012

Earlier this year we conducted the Upton Retail Audit, followed by our Town Conference and a Town Partnership Open Meeting at the end of July.

An important action item from these meetings was to create a strong vision and brand identity for the town. To help us in this work we have obtained valuable support from Worcester University and funding from Worcestershire County Council.

It is important that this project is carried out with the involvement of the whole community, residents, visitors and traders alike. Our starting point is a simple questionnaire to gather community input as to how our town is perceived and how to market our town, which we believe should be the best historic riverside town in the three counties!

You can either log on to the questionnaire at

or pick up a printed version at Upton Library, Tunnel Hill Surgery, the Primary School, the Memorial Hall or Value for Money in the High Street.

Completed forms can be returned to either the Town Clerk’s office in the Memorial Hall or to the Value for Money shop. Please note that whilst the online version has some expandable answer boxes, you can use as much space on the hard copy forms as you need. All the hand written returns will be added to the computer database, so we will have a complete results set to guide our project forward.

We will later publish a summary of the results for all to see. This questionnaire is promoted jointly by the Upton Town Partnership and the Upton Town Council and runs through to 30th November. Please respond, and support our town.

Mike Ostick

Vice Chairman, Upton Town Partnership

Economic Regeneration Group, Upton Town Council.
