Public Display

The Memorial Hall, Upton

Friday November 14th, 2014.

2.00 pm – 8.00 pm

CEMEX UK will be holding a public display of proposals to extend the life of its existing sand and gravel processing operation at Ryall House Farm with an extension known as Ryall North.

Current extraction at Ripple will come to an end next summer and this extension would see sand and gravel extracted in four, seven week ‘campaigns’ per annum over a period of up to seven years. This would see the supply of materials to local markets maintained and the twelve jobs associated with the plant conserved.

All materials would be transported from the site by barge on the River Severn to the existing processing plant.

Restoration would be to a lake with a wide-range of bio-diversity opportunities.

Please come along to view and discuss these proposals with us on November 14th.
